2025 NCAA Football – Conference Championship Betting Picks vs Spread

Due to server maintenance, I was unable to post my football betting picks last week.

We have some fun match-ups in FBS conference championship games. I personally can’t wait to watch Indiana and Ohio State face off in Indianapolis. I grew up in Indiana and spent nearly a decade in Columbus, Ohio.

I assume most of the country have Georgia facing Alabama as their most anticipated game this week.

We’ve added some FCS betting picks in this week’s picks against the spread.

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick every college football game against the spread in Week 15 of the 2025-26 NCAA Football season (December 6th, 2025).

BYU Cougars vs Texas Tech Red Raiders (-12.5) – My pick is Texas Tech Red Raiders -12.5

The BYU Cougars (11-1, 9-3 ATS) are coming off a 41-21 home win over UCF, which covered the -17.5 spread.

The Texas Tech Red Raiders (11-1, 10-2 ATS) are coming off a 49-0 road win over West Virginia, which covered the -24 betting line.

BYU hopes to get payback for their lone loss this year. I don’t think it will happen. The Red Raiders have an great defense and QB Behren Morton has been outstanding. The Red Raiders are perfect on the year when Morton is under center. The betting line is a tad bloated, but I think Texas Tech has enough talent to cover at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

Georgia Bulldogs vs Alabama Crimson Tide (+2.5) – My pick is Georgia Bulldogs -2.5

The Georgia Bulldogs (11-1, 5-6-1 ATS) are coming off a 16-9 road win over Georgia Tech, but failed to cover the -15.5 spread.

The Alabama Crimson Tide (10-2, 7-3-2 ATS) are coming off a 27-20 road win over Auburn, but was a push against the -7 betting line.

These teams met in late September (Georgia won 24-21), but both teams saw big leaps in development from their quarterbacks. Alabama QB Ty Simpson made huge strides midseason, but his progression has hit a wall since the calendar his November. I think Georgia’s defense will limit Simpson enough to cover this game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Indiana Hoosiers vs Ohio State Buckeyes (-4) – My pick is Indiana Hoosiers +4

The Indiana Hoosiers (12-0, 7-5 ATS) are coming off a 56-3 road win over Purdue, which easily cover the -28 spread.

The Ohio State Buckeyes (12-0, 10-1-1 ATS) are coming off a 27-9 road win over Michigan, and covered the -9 spread.

I am really looking forward to this match-up. Indiana has faced the easiest schedule among any of the better teams in the Big Ten. Their offense has lit up the worst teams in the conference, and their best win came at Oregon in early-October. I am not sure if they can get the outright win, but I think the Hoosiers will perform better than most expect. I’m taking the points at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Duke Blue Devils vs Virginia Cavaliers (-4.5) – My pick is Virginia Cavaliers -4.5

The Duke Blue Devils (7-5, 5-6-1 ATS) are coming off a 49-32 home win over Wake Forest, which covered the -2.5 betting line.

The Virginia Cavaliers (10-2, 8-4 ATS) are coming off a 27-7 home win over Virginia Tech, which covered the -8.5 spread.

Virginia easily secured an a spot in the ACC Championship game, but their opponent came down to a tiebreaker among five teams that finished 6-2 in the ACC. Duke had the worst overall record among those teams, but won the convoluted tiebreaker rules. This game would have been more competitive had Miami (FL), Georgia Tech or SMU won a spot in this game. Virginia’s ground game and defense will be too much for Duke to handle. I’m taking Virginia to cover at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.

Miami (OH) RedHawks vs Western Michigan Broncos (-2.5) – My pick is Western Michigan Broncos +7

This is the section where we pick a smaller conference game.

The Miami (OH) RedHawks (7-5, 8-4 ATS) are coming off a 45-24 home win over Ball State, and covered the -17 spread.

The Western Michigan (8-4, 8-3-1 ATS) are coming off a 31-21 road win over Eastern Michigan, which was a push against the -10 betting line.

The MAC Championship is usually one of the tougher conference games to handicap. The conference is known for their lax defense and high-scoring games. Miami QB Thomas Gotkowski is one of the better quarterbacks in the MAC, but I think Western Michigan’s rushing attack will be difficult for the RedHawks to stop. I’m taking the Broncos to cover in Detroit.
