Super Bowl 58 is this Sunday and it’s a prop bets smorgasbord.
I LOVE prop bets. I actually get more joy out of betting Super Bowl prop bets than betting against the spread. Yes, most are a crap shoot, but with the right research, you can end up winning bets with very favorable odds.
I’m not saying you can research who will win the coin toss, but there are many other player and team prop bets out there that have nice odds.
Some prop bets aren’t worth the money (the juice isn’t worth the slight risk), but sometimes you just have to lay a few bucks down, cross your fingers and wish for the best.
I picked out some of the most popular prop bets for Super Bowl 58 (or Super Bowl LVIII for Roman numeral fans)…and we also pick the game against the spread.
Let me know if you’re betting any of these props. Good luck!
What Color Gatorade Will be Dumped on the Winning Head Coach?
Purple (+275)
Orange (+325)
Blue (+375)
Yellow/Green/Lime (+375)
Red/Pink (+400)
Clear/Water (+1100)
No Gatorade Bath (+2000)
I’m going to hedge my bet here…and since both teams have red in their logos, I’m going with red. I think orange would be a close second in my eyes.
Prediction: Red

Coin Toss?
– Heads (-104)
– Tails (-104)
I usually rotate every year and I picked heads last year, so I’ll take tails this year.
Prediction: TAILS

Super Bowl LVIII MVP Odds
Patrick Mahomes (+125)
Brock Purdy (+235)
Christian McCaffrey (+450)
Travis Kelce (+1200)
Deebo Samuel (+2000)
Isiah Pacheco (+2500)
Rashee Rice (+5000)
George Kittle (+6000)
Brandon Aiyuk (+6000)
Nick Bosa (+7500)
I don’t want to tip my game pick too much, but I like the juice Christian McCaffrey pick has right now. If the Niners win, I don’t expect Brock Purdy to be the reason why they win. If it’s a low-scoring game, and the Niners win, I could see Purdy getting votes because he’s a quarterback. I expect a lot of points in this game, so give me CMC.
The sleeper pick is WR Deebo Samuel. He’s a Swiss Army knife and can be used in the backfield and as a wideout. I could see him making noise, even more if CMC suffers an injury.
Prediction: Christian McCaffrey (likely) – Deebo Samuel (sleeper)

Total Points – Over/Under
– OVER 47.5 (-115)
– UNDER 47.5 (-115)
As I said earlier, I think this will be a high-scoring game. It wouldn’t surprise me if the over is hit by the end of the third quarter.
Prediction: OVER

Point Spread
– Kansas City Chiefs (+2)
– San Francisco 49ers (-2)
This postseason, the Chiefs have been solid against the spread. They are historically overrated and usually have a record under .500 during the regular season. The Niners may not have the ‘sexy’ names like Patrick Mahomes or Taylor Swift, but I think they are the better overall team. I’m taking the Niners to cover in Las Vegas.
Prediction: San Francisco 49ers (-2)
