2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 11

daniel jones dottedThe Miami Dolphins, Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Jacksonville Jaguars are out on bye this week. Who should you stream to replace quaterbacks Tua Tagovailoa and Geno Smith?

Injuries are hurting a few fantasy starters right now. Bill QB Josh Allen is dealing with an elbow injury and Raiders QB Derek Carr is missing a few of his favorite targets.

We are only a couple games away from Browns QB Deshaun Watson making his Browns debut. Is it time to add him to your bench?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 11 of the 2022 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Daniel Jones of New York Giants.

I want to explain what I mean by “sit” and “start.” Of course you are going to start some of the guys i say to bench this week, because you probably used high draft picks or a lot of money in an auction for them. My ‘sit’ players are guys I am just not completely sold that they will have good weeks. If you have a guy that you are on the fence about, maybe this will help you pick between the players.

START’EM

  • QB Daniel Jones (New York Giants – Jones continues to be one of the best streaming candidates this season. He has another great matchup (Detroit) this week and should fill up the boxscore.
  • WR Kadarius Toney (Kansas City Chiefs) The Chiefs are using Toney in different ways. He should get some yards on the ground and still get a handful of targets per game.
  • TE Cole Kmet (Chicago Bears) – Kmet was once in the doghouse in Chicago, but he has been a popular target when QB Justin Fields looks down the field as he scrambles in the pocket.
  • RB Rhamondre Stevenson (New England Patriots) – I expect the Patriots to continue to try to run the ball to ease QB Mac Jones back from injury. It’s been a few weeks since he returned from injury, but he just hasn’t looked healthy since. Stevenson should get a lot of work against the Jets.
  • QB Joe Burrow (Cincinnati Bengals) – Burrow misses WR Ja’Marr Chase, but I think he should still light up the Steelers secondary.
  • Los Angeles Rams Defense & Special Teams – The Rams offense hasn’t been great, but their defense has been keeping them in many games. They should get a few turnovers against the Saints.
  • RB Cordarrelle Patterson (Atlanta Falcons)The Falcons didn’t use Patterson well in his first game back from injury. He only had six touches for 20 yards in the loss. I expect they go back to using him a lot against the Bears.
  • WR Courtland Sutton (Denver Broncos) – It looks like WR Jerry Jeudy could miss this weekend’s game. Sutton did well in his absence and will be a large focus of the passing offense if Jeudy is out.
  • RB Devin Singletary (Buffalo Bills) – The Bills will really try to hit the running game hard as QB Josh Allen’s elbow issues mend. Singletary only gained 47 yards on 13 carries, but he did find the endzone twice.
  • TE Dalton Schultz (Dallas Cowboys) – Schultz’s fantasy stock has trending upwards since QB Dak Prescott returned. He is getting 6+ catches per game and is a red zone target.
  • WR Rondale Moore (Arizona Cardinals) – Moore is healthy and is getting way more targets than people expected. He got 13 targets and nine catches in their win over the Rams.
  • RB Brian Robinson Jr. (Washington Commanders)Robinson is turning into a beast. He averaged less than 4 ypc against the Eagles, but he hits the hole hard  and can be hard to bring down. He faces the Texans this week and I’m expecting a big game from the rookie.
  • San Francisco 49ers Defense & Special Teams – The Niners defense had some injury injuries a few games ago, but people are coming back. I could see them having a good game against the Cardinals.
  • QB Justin Fields (Chicago Bears) – Fields went from ‘streaming candidate’ to ‘must-start’ in a matter of two or three games. I expect another big game from him against the Falcons.

SIT’EM

  • RB D’Andre Swift (Detroit Lions) Swift isn’t getting another snaps to be worth a start. I’m not sure what’s going on in Detroit, but he’s not getting enough action.
  • QB Derek Carr (Las Vegas Raiders)  – Carr is missing TE Darren Waller and WR Hunter Renfrow, so his numbers are taking a hit. The Broncos secondary should limit his fantasy output this week.
  • WR Wan’Dale Robinson (New York Giants) – Robinson is more of a possession receiver and he’s not getting enough targets right now. The Giants are going to WR Darius Slayton more, but he has top-end speed, which Robinson lacks.
  • RB Darrell Henderson (Los Angeles Rams) – The Rams backfield is a mess and I wouldn’t want to start any of them. Henderson might be a flex candidate, as he gets more touches in the red zone…but I’d stir clear of him this week.
  • QB Matt Ryan (Indianapolis Colts) – Ryan could have issues against the Eagles. I could see the Colts spamming the ball to RB Jonathan Taylor since the Eagles run defense has been very weak.
  • WR Adam Thielen (Minnesota Vikings) – Thielen isn’t getting a lot of fantasy points since the Vikings traded for TE T.J. Hockenson. He has only scored one touchdown since Week 3.
  • TE Tyler Higbee (Los Angeles Rams) – Higbee had eight receptions for 73 yards against the Cardinals, but only had three catches combined in his previous three games. I’d rather start Broncos TE Greg Dulcich over Higbee.
  • Las Vegas Raiders Defense & Special Teams – Some may look at the Raiders as a nice streaming candidate against the Broncos…but their defense hasn’t been very good in recent weeks. I’d rather start the Chiefs or the Commanders over the Raiders this week.
  • TE Dawson Knox (Buffalo Bills) – Knox’s fantasy stock may take a lengthy nosedive with Allen’s elbow issues get better (or worse). I expect the Bills will try to run the ball more over the next month or so.
  • Dallas Cowboys Defense & Special Teams – The Cowboys face the Vikings this week and their secondary could have issues with the Vikings passing offense. I know the Cowboys have some ballhawks in their secondary, but they take some risky paths to the ball for those picks.
  • WR Drake London (Atlanta Falcons) – London has had more than 50 receiving yards in a game since Week 3. He did find the endzone last week, snapping a six-game streak without a touchdown.
