nigel-hayes-wisconsin-badgers-pitt-panthers-2016-ncaa-tournamentWe are here to help you fill out your brackets and finally beat ‘Jill in HR’ in your office pool this year.

The Big Ten had a big year. Many of their teams sprinkled the Top 25 all year. Wisconsin didn’t start out the year hot, but finished strong in usual Wisconsin fashion.

The ACC has some of the best teams in the nation. A few are expected to go deep into the tourney. Pitt didn’t have a strong conference record, but they come into the NCAA Tournament battle-tested.

2016 March Madness: #7 Oregon State vs #10 VCU

gary payton ii oregon state beavers 2016 ncaa tournament vcu ramsWe are here to help you fill out your brackets and finally beat ‘Tammy in the mail room’ this year.

The Pac-12 was fun to watch this year, but teams beat the hell out of each other during the conference schedule. The Beavers came out of the Pac-12 schedule with a negative efficiency rating. The got a #7 seed thanks to their RPI rating.

The Atlantic 10 had a three-way tie for the regular season title. Dayton, VCU and St. Bonaventure tied with St. Joseph’s finishing one game out. The Rams have a core group of upperclassmen that have experience in the tournament.

2016 March Madness: #7 Iowa vs #10 Temple

Quenton DeCosey Temple Owls 2016 ncaa tournament iowa hawkeyesWe are here to help you fill out your brackets and finally beat ‘Cheryl the secretary’ this year.

The Big Ten was a competitive conference with a lot of upsets. The top four teams in the conference kept trading wins, so teams have faced adversity all year. Iowa struggled more than any other top ten in the Big Ten, but still somehow managed to still get a #7 seed.

The American Athletic Conference was top-heavy, but Temple came out of nowhere after a weak showing during their non-conference schedule. They finished the year with the AAC regular season title.

Can Iowa shake off their late-season issues?

2016 March Madness: #8 Texas Tech vs #9 Butler

roosevelt-jones-butler-bulldogs-2016-ncaa-tournament-texas-tech-red-raidersWe are here to help you fill out your brackets and finally beat ‘Becky in marketing’ this year.

Big 12 basketball was all over the place this year. They kept scavenging each other and it made for a fun year. Texas Tech was not expected to survive, but here they are in the NCAA Tournament.

The Big East was top-heavy this year. Butler was expected to compete for the title, but this year’s focus on offense is a little different from other Butler teams that had success in the NCAA Tournament.

Does Butler have another long tournament run in their future?

kris-dunn-2016-march-madness-ncaa-tournament-providence-friars-usc-trojansWe are here to help you fill out your brackets and finally beat ‘Frances in payroll’ this year.

I loved watching Pac-12 games this year. It didn’t matter if it was one of the best versus one of the weakest teams in the conference, those games were always competitive. Every team that made the tournament from the Pac-12 deserves to be in it.

The Big East was top-heavy this year. Providence was a favorite to win the conference, but slumped mid-season. They finished the year strong and corrected the ship.

Does Andy Enfield have more ‘Dunk City’ magic left in him?

2016 March Madness: #8 St. Joseph’s vs #9 Cincinnati

Isaiah-Miles-saint-josephs-2016-march-madness-ncaa-tournamentWe are here to help you fill out your brackets and finally beat Nancy in accounting this year.

The Atlantic 10 conference was better than expected this year. All the best teams in the division made the tournament and had their share of upsets early in the season.

The American Athletic Conference wasn’t as strong. Teams beat up on each other in-conference and they all came out of the year a bit hobbled. I think at least one too many teams from the conference made it into the field of 68 this year.

Can Cincy force St. Joseph’s to turn the ball over?

Pac 12 Basketball: Who will Win the Regular Season Crown?

Jakob Poeltl Utah Utes Pac 12 college basketballPac 12 basketball championship is always a competitive with many teams going for nothing less than the title. We all know that this season is definitely no exception after the preparation the teams have undergone. Visit online oddsmakers like MyBookie.lv to find odds on which team is likely to win the season’s crown of Pac 12 Basketball Tournament.

After the slate of games on Saturday, both Oregon and Arizona are currently ranked at the top position of conference standings with 10-4. Nevertheless, Utah is also down on their necks at a 9-5 with a game in hand against USC scheduled on Sunday afternoon, whereas Cal and USC follow Utah at 8-5. This would make it a tight championship to predict.

For many years, Pac 12 has been more a five-team race in between the schools, but odds thus boiling down to either Oregon or Arizona. Unluckily, these two teams will not face-off anymore in this year’s regular season. Arizona was beaten by Oregon in their single match-up earlier in Arizona, where they won by 83-75

2015-16 College Basketball – All-Name Team

ucf tacko fall all-name team central florida college basketballWe have many new entries this season, but I’m sad great names like McWisdon Badejo and Nimrod Hilliard have graduated. We have plenty of fun names this year.

We picked through every Division-I college basketball roster and a few smaller schools for our list. This year’s class is solid and better than last year’s All-Name Team. We went through a rebuilding year and we are a better team.

My name is Bobby Roberts, so I am often jealous of people with unique names. The most unique thing about my name is that I was not born ‘Robert Roberts’, Bobby is my given name. I don’t know too many grown men named Bobby.

This list consists of names that we wished he had and ones we find humorous. Enjoy!

2015 March Madness: #5 Arkansas vs #12 Wofford

2015 NCAA Tournament Arkansas Razorbacks Wofford Bobby Portis March Madness picks bracketThe SEC doesn’t have a very good track record when an above average SEC team faces a small school in the opening round. Georgia, Auburn and even Arkansas have been bitten in the ass by Cinderella in the past.

This is Mike Anderson’s first trip to the NCAA Tournament as the head coach of Arkansas. He took over the job in 2011 and the team’s record has improved each season. They hope to build on last year’s NIT experience.

This is Wofford’s fourth appearance in the Big Dance. They have yet to win a game. Their closest loss was in their first tourney appearance in 2010, when they lost to Wisconsin 53-49.

2015 March Madness: #5 West Virginia vs #12 Buffalo

2015 NCAA Tournament West Virginia Mountaineers Buffalo Bulls Bobby Hurley March Madness picks bracketThere are some intriguing #5 vs #12 games in the 2015 NCAA Tournament. This is where I believe at least one true Cinderella could come out of the opening round.

West Virginia coach Bob Huggins hasn’t been in the NCAA Tournament since 2012. This year’s 23-8 squad finished with his second-best regular season record since he’s been in Morgantown. Can he get the ‘Neers to their first Sweet Sixteen in five years?

Bobby Hurley took over Buffalo’s program last season after serving as an assistant at Wagner College and Rhode Island. He was an accomplished college point guard at Duke in the early 90’s. This is his first appearance in the tournament as a head coach. How much did Coack K and his legendary father rub off on him?

2015 March Madness: #6 SMU vs #11 UCLA

sad Steve Alford 2015 March Madness NCAA Tournament bubble teamUCLA lost a lot of talent to the NBA this offseason. Jordan Adams, Kyle Anderson and Zach LaVine were all drafted while Travis Wear caught on with an NBA team after Summer League. That’s a lot of talent that has gone bye bye.

SMU and their head coach Larry Brown (who always looks like he can’t find his keys) have been nearly automatic since early-season losses. They have learned to be patient with the ball. The Mustangs finished the regular season in the top 25 in both assists per game and field goal percentage.

Can Alford quiet all the ‘UCLA shouldn’t be the tournament’ naysayers?
