2022 NFL Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 10

We are back to only four teams on bye this week, but the teams are loaded with normal flex options and solid quarterbacks.

The Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots, New York Jets and the Baltimore Ravens are all out.

Every bye team, except the Jets, welcome this bye week. They are dealing with injuries to key players. It’s another week for QB Mac Jones and the Ravens backfield to fully heal up.

How will the Bears offense fare against the Detroit Lions?

Here is our Fantasy Football Sit/Start for Week 10 of the 2022 NFL season…and enjoy our awesome MS Paint masterpiece of QB Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys

I want to explain what I mean by “sit” and “start.” Of course you are going to start some of the guys i say to bench this week, because you probably used high draft picks or a lot of money in an auction for them. My ‘sit’ players are guys I am just not completely sold that they will have good weeks. If you have a guy that you are on the fence about, maybe this will help you pick between the players.

START’EM

  • QB Daniel Jones (New York Giants – Jones has been an underrated streaming quarterback option this season. He could be another good one-week start at home against the Houston Texans.
  • WR Mecole Hardman (Kansas City Chiefs) – The Chiefs wide receivers are battling for the WR1 spot in Kansas City. Hardman is stringing together some nice games. Kansas City is passing more and Hardman is reaping the benefits.
  • TE Dalton Schultz (Dallas Cowboys) – Schultz could sneak into a top-five tight end now that QB Dak Prescott is back healthy. He faces the Packers, whose pass defense has been inconsistent this season.
  • RB Jeff Wilson Jr. (Miami Dolphins) – Wilson is a trendy add this week now that we’ve seen what he can do in Miami. He will shared the touches with RB Raheem Mostret, but Wilson had better hands.
  • QB Dak Prescott (Dallas Cowboys) – As I said above, the Packers pass defense is not deep and Prescott should be able to move the ball well. He could avoid Packers CB Jaire Alexander and still have a big game.
  • Denver Broncos Defense & Special Teams – The Broncos defense is underrated and they have a good match-up against the Titans. They will fill the box and make rookie QB Malik Willis (or Ryan Tannehill) to throw the ball.
  • RB Rachaad White (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) – The rumor is that White will begin to see more snaps going forward. I wouldn’t want to have RB Leonard Fournette on my roster. White has great hands and will be a nice box score warrior.
  • WR Josh Palmer (Los Angeles Chargers) – Palmer has stepped up in the absence of the Chargers top wide receivers. It’s currently unknown of wide receivers Keenan Allen and Mike Williams will suit up against the 49ers.
  • RB Latavius Murray (Denver Broncos)The Broncos added RB Chase Edmonds at the deadline, but I don’t see him getting RB1 carries. Murray has proven that he can do a lot with his touches. I’d rather start Murray against the Titans.
  • TE Pat Freiermuth (Pittsburgh Steelers) – Now that WR Chase Claypool is in Chicago, it will free up targets. Freiermuth hasn’t lived up to the preseason hype, but that should change going forward.
  • WR Rondale Moore (Arizona Cardinals) – Kyler Murray is getting comfortable with Moore, possibly even more comfortable than WR DeAndre Hopkins. Moore is healthy and fast, so he could break a big play at any time.
  • RB Khalil Herbert (Chicago Bears) – RB David Montgomery has the bigger name, but Herbert does the most with his touches. I know Fields got most of the rushing yards last week, but I expect the Lions will have a spy on him on every play.
  • New York Giants Defense & Special Teams – The Giants defense is underrated and they should have a banner day against the Texans.
  • QB Justin Fields (Chicago Bears) – As I said above, Fields racked up a ton of yards on the ground against the Dolphins. I don’t expect him to match those numbers, but I could see him throwing more against the Lions.

SIT’EM

  • RB David Montgomery (Chicago Bears) – Montgomery is in a 50/50 carry split with Herbert…but he is only averaging 3.7 yards per carry. He isn’t knocking it out of the park in the passing game either as he only has 14 receptions for 143 on the season.
  • QB Aaron Rodgers (Green Bay Packers) I know it’s risky to bench Rodgers, but he hasn’t played great the last couple weeks. He just doesn’t look comfortable with his receivers. I don’t see him putting up big fantasy numbers against the Cowboys.
  • WR Robert Woods (Tennessee Titans) – Woods isn’t getting enough targets to start, even in deep leagues. It’s currently unknown which quarterback will start this week, but if it’s Malik Willis, it’s bad news for every Titans receiver.
  • RB Melvin Gordon (Denver Broncos) – As I said above, I expect Latavius Murray to get a lot of carries and newly-acquired Chase Edmonds could eat into the fumble-prone Gordon’s touches.
  • QB Jimmy Garoppolo (San Francisco 49ers) – You could be looking at Jimmy G as a possible streaming candidate, but I’d avoid him against the Chargers. I expect the Niners to hit the Chargers with their running game. Garoppolo could get some yards with the short passing game, but don’t see them gaining a lot of yards through the air.
  • WR Allen Robinson (Los Angeles Rams) – I wouldn’t start any Rams receiver not named Cooper Kupp in fantasy. Robinson isn’t a big part of the Rams passing game.
  • TE Cole Kmet (Chicago Bears)Kmet may have caught two touches last week, but he has disappeared too many times for me to trust him. I’d rather start Broncos’ Greg Dulcich or Buccaneers’ Cade Otton.
  • Cleveland Browns Defense & Special Teams – The Browns have a tough match-up against the Dolphins. They will give up too many yards to be worth a start.
  • TE Noah Fant (Seattle Seahawks) – I like Seattle’s passing game, but they’ve been running the ball in the red zone. They spam the ball with RB Kenneth Walker III and I don’t see that changing against the Bucs.
  • Buffalo Bills Defense & Special Teams – The Bills pass defense is banged up and they can be thrown on. They face the VIkings, whose passing game is admired by most of the league.
  • WR Drake London (Atlanta Falcons) – London was an early-season waiver wire darling, but he isn’t amassing enough yards or targets right now.
