2015 NCAA Football – Week 14 Betting Picks Against Spread

derrick henry alabama crimson tide sec championship game ncaa college football picks against the spread 2015 america's white boyThis week isn’t as stocked with games, since all the marquee games are conference championship games. We ended up picking every single college football game against the spread.

I went 10-9-1 against the spread last week. Clemson, Alabama, Oklahoma and Iowa still sit on top of the College Football Playoff rankings. Michigan State will play in the CFP with a win over Iowa on Saturday. Also, Ohio State and Stanford could sneak in if Florida and/or North Carolina throw a wrench into machine.

The Heisman trophy front-runner Alabama RB Derrick Henry could lock up the trophy with another strong performance.

We at ‘America’s White Boy’ pick against the spread for all the big college football games on Saturday (December 5th, 2015), and pick some games earlier in the week. Enjoy!

Texas at Baylor (-20.5) – My pick is Baylor Bears

This line may appear too high, but remember that Texas is horrible on the road (they haven’t won a single road game this season). Baylor still has a lot to play for since they are playing for a spot in a prime bowl game. Texas just wants this bad season to come to an end. I’m taking Baylor to cover at home.

Temple at Houston (-6) – My pick is Temple Owls

I love Houston this season, but Temple is no longer a pushover. Their defense has been playing well (they haven’t given up a touchdown the last two games). Houston’s offense will still put up some yards, but getting into the endzone will be a struggle. Temple will keep this one close, so I’m taking the points.

Florida vs Alabama (-17.5) – My pick is Alabama Crimson Tide

Florida hasn’t been the same since QB Will Grier was busted for using PEDs. QB Treon Harris doesn’t have the playmaking skills the Gators need to contend with Alabama. Tide RB Derrick Henry carried the ball a record 46 times against Auburn. I expect him to have another productive game with a heavy workload. I’m picking Alabama to cover and head into the College Football Playoff.

Michigan State vs Iowa (+4) – My pick is Michigan State Spartans

The winner of this game will be in the College Football Playoff. Iowa is perfect on the season, but their record still feels empty. They haven’t played any of the best teams in the Big Ten. They still deserve a lot of credit for not overlooking any of the sub-par teams they’ve faced. Michigan State have looked great since losing to Nebraska on a blown call. Michigan State has done more to impress me this season than Iowa. I’m taking State to cover and head to the CFP.

Stanford vs USC (+4.5) – My pick is Stanford Cardinal

USC interim head coach Clay Helton was officially named the head coach this week. The team have been playing for his job. This game will be fun to watch since both quarterbacks could face each other in the NFL one day. Cody Kessler and Kevin Hogan are both seniors and each have been starting for at least the last three seasons. Stanford won 41-31 at USC early in the season. Stanford controlled the clock by running the balls 49 times. Stanford will give RB Christian McCaffrey another heavy workload against the Trojans. I’m taking Stanford to cover at Levi’s Stadium.

North Carolina vs Clemson (-4.5) – My pick is North Carolina Tar Heels

Clemson appeared to be a team of destiny after their last minute win over Notre Dame early in the season. They have ran the table and is currently #1 in the College Football Poll. North Carolina started the season off rocky with a loss to South Carolina, but have been perfect ever since. They’ve trounced all the weaker ACC teams they faced (Florida State wasn’t on their schedule). I predict this will be a shootout. North Carolina has the weapons to hang with Clemson. I believe this one will be close, so I’m taking the points. I may even lay a few jellybeans on the UNC moneyline. There HAS to be a little chaos to end of the season, right?
