I ended up doing pretty well last week. I went 13-7 and hit on a few moneyline underdogs plays. I want to thank Georgia Tech for the outright win against Georgia. My record is now 143-112-3 on the season.
Conference Championship games can be a crapshoot. Pay close attention to injury reports and make sure to check weather reports (just in case). Most of the games this week are played in nice weather and/or in domes. It shouldn’t be a huge factor.
We were 134-79-8 against the spread betting on college football games last season. We hope to keep it going and help you guys out again this season.
We pick against the spread for all the big college football games on Saturday (December 6th, 2014), and picked some smaller conference games as well. Enjoy!
Arizona vs Oregon (-14) – My pick is Arizona Wildcats
I can’t wait for this game. Arizona has beaten the Ducks the last two times they’ve played, but those games were under much different circumstances. Marcus Mariota was basically playing on one leg in last year’s game…and in this year’s game, Oregon had offensive line health issues. If Oregon wins, they will cement their spot in the inaugural College Football Playoff. Arizona would love to spoil the party. Arizona lost two games by 12 points combined. I don’t like Oregon’s odds of beating Arizona by two touchdowns at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA. I’m taking the points.
Kansas State at Baylor (-9) – My pick is Kansas State Wildcats
Baylor quarterback Bryce Petty is currently listed as questionable due to a concussion. He’s not paying any attention to the injury report. Petty told reporters that he’s ready to play. Kansas State has flown under the national radar all season. Their only two losses came against TCU and Auburn. They’ve been consistent all year. KSU quarterback Jake Waters has matured into a really nice player. The underdog has won ATS in their last four meetings. I’m taking the points.
Alabama vs Missouri (+14.5) – My pick is Missouri Tigers
I see this game being a strong defensive game. I think Alabama will end up with the outright victory, but 14.5 points is a lot. Missouri is 6-2 ATS since their embarrassing hiccup against Indiana back in September. The Tigers are winning in the SEC thanks to their defense and by controlling the clock with their running game. I’m taking the points (again).
Wisconsin vs Ohio State (+4.5) – My pick is Wisconsin Badgers
Ohio State was dealt a huge blow when J.T. Barrett fractured his ankle against Michigan. Sophomore Cardale Jones will start his first game…and it’s the freaking Big Ten Championship game. I see Melvin Gordon having a similar game as IU’s Tevin Coleman had against the Buckeyes two weeks ago. I’m picking Wisconsin to cover at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Florida State vs Georgia Tech (+4) – My pick is Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
Florida State has been the most unimpressive undefeated college football team in recent memory. They are 3-9 ATS this season. On the other side of the coin, Georgia Tech has been one of the kindest team to sports bettors. They have won against the spread in their last five games. Their funky running style annoys defenses. They needed some pretty crazy stuff to happen last week to beat Georgia in overtime. It was definitely an Instant Classic. I’m going to keep riding Tech.
Iowa State at TCU (-33.5) – My pick is TCU Horned Frogs
TCU is currently in the top-four for the College Football Playoff. It would take a Herculean effort for a team to leapfrog them at this point…but they still need to put the pedal to the metal against the Cyclones. Baylor and Ohio State are breathing down their neck.
Oklahoma State at Oklahoma (-19.5) – My pick is Oklahoma Sooners
It’s been a long season for Oklahoma State. They need to beat Oklahoma to become bowl-eligible…and I don’t see that happening. The Cowboys have had issues stopping the run and they face Samaje Perine (who broke the NCAA record for most yards in a game with 427 yards). I’m taking the Sooners to trounce OSU.
QUICK HITS

Temple at Tulane (+4) – My pick is Tulane
