I collect vintage wrestling action figures from the 80’s & 90’s. I started purchasing some vintage toys out of nostalgia. Well, WWE and Mattel sucked me into their new stuff. I now buy a few figures a month. You can <a href="https://instagram.com/vintagetoybob/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">view photos of my collection</a> on my Instagram account.</p> <p>The lineup for WWE Elite series 63 is a mix of new and old. You have a guy like Shelton Benjamin that was well overdue for an elite, hot sellers like Shinsuke Nakamura and then a couple that may have a hard time selling, even during the holiday season.</p> <p>The WWE Superstars included in Elite 63 Dusty Rhodes, Shinsuke Nakamura, Sami Zayn, Kane, Dean Ambrose and two Shelton Benjamin elites (yes, there’s a chase version).</p> <p><span id="more-15261"></span></p> <p><a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Shelton-Benjamin-Chase-Smackdown-Live-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-15263" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Shelton-Benjamin-Chase-Smackdown-Live-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys.jpg" alt="" width="320" height="514" srcset="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Shelton-Benjamin-Chase-Smackdown-Live-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys.jpg 436w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Shelton-Benjamin-Chase-Smackdown-Live-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys-187x300.jpg 187w" sizes="(max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px" /></a> <a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Shelton-Benjamin-Smackdown-Live-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-15264" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Shelton-Benjamin-Smackdown-Live-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys.jpg" alt="" width="320" height="502" srcset="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Shelton-Benjamin-Smackdown-Live-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys.jpg 446w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Shelton-Benjamin-Smackdown-Live-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys-191x300.jpg 191w" sizes="(max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px" /></a></p> <p><strong>Shelton Benjamin</strong> – This is Shelton’s first elite and probably to help it sell better, there’s a chase version. The regular release is his present-day attire (the bottom picture) and the chase is the ‘Gold Standard’ Ruthless Aggression-era attire (the top picture). I’m a big fan of the chase version as he really isn’t a huge part of Smackdown Live these days.</p> <p><a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Dusty-Rhodes-NWA-WCW-wrestling-figures-toys-Flashback.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-15265" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Dusty-Rhodes-NWA-WCW-wrestling-figures-toys-Flashback.jpg" alt="" width="320" height="510" srcset="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Dusty-Rhodes-NWA-WCW-wrestling-figures-toys-Flashback.jpg 439w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Dusty-Rhodes-NWA-WCW-wrestling-figures-toys-Flashback-188x300.jpg 188w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px" /></a></p> <p><strong>Dusty Rhodes</strong> – This is my favorite elite in the set. There have been two previous Dusty elites, but neither came with so many accessories. This Dusty elite is from the 80’s Jim Crockett Promotions/NWA Championship Wrestling era. He was the ‘everyman’s champion’ and was beloved. I would have loved for it to come with the ‘Son of a Plumber’ shirt, but I like the one it comes with as well.</p> <p><a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Shinsuke-Nakamura-Smackdown-Live-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-15266" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Shinsuke-Nakamura-Smackdown-Live-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys.jpg" alt="" width="320" height="499" srcset="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Shinsuke-Nakamura-Smackdown-Live-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys.jpg 449w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Shinsuke-Nakamura-Smackdown-Live-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys-192x300.jpg 192w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px" /></a></p> <p><strong>Shinsuke Nakamura</strong> – Mattel could have easily thrown a plastic shirt on Nakamura, but they didn’t cheap out. It’s an odd shirt, but Nakamura wears odd shirts. Also, it’s hard to give Nakamura a perfect headcan since the dude is so expressive. I think this is about as good as it’s going to get.</p> <p><a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Sami-Zayn-Smackdown-Live-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-15267" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Sami-Zayn-Smackdown-Live-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys.jpg" alt="" width="333" height="427" srcset="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Sami-Zayn-Smackdown-Live-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys.jpg 546w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Sami-Zayn-Smackdown-Live-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys-234x300.jpg 234w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 333px) 100vw, 333px" /></a></p> <p><strong>Sami Zayn</strong> – I enjoyed Sami’s run as Kevin Owens sidekick on Smackdown Live. The ‘Yep! Movement’ mockery of Daniel Bryan was enjoyable television. I’m not sure how well this will sell since he is expected to be out recovering from two rotator cuff surgeries. Usually figures of guys who aren’t on TV just collect dust at retail.</p> <p><a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Kane-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-15268" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Kane-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys.jpg" alt="" width="320" height="452" srcset="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Kane-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys.jpg 496w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Kane-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys-213x300.jpg 213w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px" /></a></p> <p><strong>Kane</strong> – The Mayor of Knoxville County, Tennessee has a new figure. I think it was too soon for another Kane elite as they do not sell well. He’s another case of someone who isn’t on TV a lot (and won’t be used very much in the near future due to his new political gig). I don’t see too many new features and kids can just use their old Kane figures to lose during play.</p> <p><a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Dean-Ambrose-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-15269" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Dean-Ambrose-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys.jpg" alt="" width="350" height="493" srcset="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Dean-Ambrose-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys.jpg 497w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/WWE-Elite-63-Dean-Ambrose-RAW-wrestling-figures-toys-213x300.jpg 213w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px" /></a></p> <p><strong>Dean Ambrose</strong> – This figure is from the short-lived Shield reunion before Ambrose injured his shoulder/elbow and missed the next nine months. I don’t recall him having such a large beard, so the headscan is odd to me. I am going to pass on this one and just pick up the new The Shield elite Epic Moments 3-Pack.</p> <p>Elite 63 should be found at retail in mid-to-late November.</p> <p>Elite 64’s lineup has leaked, but I will write up a post once MOC pictures are released, which should be in the next couple weeks.</p> <p>You can pre-order everything at <a href="http://www.RingsideCollectibles.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">RingsideCollectibles.com</a>. I’m not getting paid to plug them (although it would be nice to get a nice discount – wink wink). I just recommend them. I’ve been pleased with every purchase. The wrestler will need to back up the hype in the ring and on the microphone, but a great entrance song can go a long way.</p> <p>Let’s use Bobby Roode as an example. He had a great career in TNA, but that promotion started to die off as Roode was finishing up there. There’s no doubt he would have received a good pop upon his first appearance, but his <a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/category/wwe/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">WWE</a> entrance theme made him look like a damn superstar. It also shows the fans that they were putting ‘the machine’ behind the wrestler, so they will push them as far as they can go.</p> <p>NXT has been the starting point of some of the songs on this list. I want to credit Triple H as he’s a fan of harder music and no doubt had the final say on the music. I am just thankful Vince doesn’t have his hands in NXT or every guy would be coming out to Flo Rida or Florida Georgia Line songs.</p> <p><span id="more-14868"></span></p> <p>This list isn’t in any specific order, as it would take me too long to rank them. I had to cut out 25 songs or more to get down to a solid 25 <a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/category/wrestling/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">pro wrestlin</a>g entrance themes. The list isn’t all WWE songs as New Japan, TNA and older songs from WCW and ECW make the list.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Hulk Hogan – Real American <em>(80’s & early-90’s)</em></strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/fKJDAVvs_JA?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>This is arguably the most iconic theme song in wrestling history. Hogan was one of the people that shaped the way the wrestling operates today. Vince McMahon pushed Hogan as the superstar in the WWF and ate up all the territories in his wake. Hogan first started to come out to Survivor’s ‘Eye of the Tiger’, but that song is now more synonymous with the movie ‘Rocky’ today. I’m not ashamed to admit that I still bang this during workouts, brother!</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>NWO Wolfpac <em>(late-90’s & early-00’s)</em></strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/IYwXUxgszF0?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>The original New World Order started to become stale, so they had a spin-off, the Wolfpac. Kevin Nash said in a shoot interview that this wasn’t their original choice. The Wolfpac initially started to come out to 2Pac tracks at house shows, but that couldn’t fly on TV. They finally ripped-off the beat from <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WB3EUMqgjO4" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Militia’s track “Burn”</a> and this entrance song was born.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Ric Flair <em>(80’s to current)</em></strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/LZmyn_Ybx2I?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>This is another iconic song from pro wrestling history. This isn’t a list of the most inconic songs, but the best ones…and this checks both boxes. “Also Sprach Zarathustra, Opus 30” is the classical music song of choice for the Nature Boy. It’s so regal and just brings so much pomp and circumstance to his persona.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Batista <em>(00’s to current)</em></strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/l6SOYlunc88?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>I’ve always enjoyed Batista’s entrance music. It screams ‘Ruthless Aggression’ as the band Saliva seemed to have an ‘official song of fill-in-the blank pay-per-view’ a few times a year during that era. Something that put it over was Batista’s fake machine gun motion that was accompanied by pyro. Batista needs to come back so I can hear this song every Monday or Tuesday.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Edge <em>(late-00’s to current)</em></strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/--5tBLiE1Fk?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>Edge had a few entrance songs, but this track by Alter Bridge is the one he settled on until his early retirement. He also came out to ‘Never Gonna Stop’ by Rob Zombie for awhile early in his career, which is another banger. The song by Alter Bridge added to his mystique and was just another puzzle piece to make Edge the world champion he would become.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Shinsuke Nakamura <em>(2000s to 2015)</em></strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/-7Pch5YuLuE?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>This is the entrance music Shinsuke Nakamura came to when he was in New Japan Pro Wrestling. The track is called ‘Subconscious’ and I would put money on it that WWE tried to get the rights to this song, but failed. Nakamura became known for this song and was a superstar for the promotion. It’s a great song and I can see why it was so popular there.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Shinsuke Nakamura <em>(2018 to current)</em></strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/S-VyG3V-l2I?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>This is an updated version of Nakamura’s entrance song he started out with in NXT. They added Japanese lyrics by Shadows of the Sun. He needed an update as the original was more babyface and this feels more heel. Nakamura actually had his hand in picking out the original. They actually first gave him what would become Bobby Roode’s music, but he turned it down as it didn’t fit his character.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Aleister Black <em>(2017 to current)</em></strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/4cSZ3Vsugso?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>This track kicks so much ass. The duo of CFO$, that does almost all of the new entrance themes in WWE, is credited for creating it. They used the band Incendiary on the track and they will melt your face off. They played it live at one of the NXT Takeover events and made Black look like a megastar. The track fits his occult persona and I predict he will become one of the biggest stars on the main roster when they call him up. I would have loved to see Black versus the Undertaker in his prime, but it looks like Taker is on his last legs.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Alex Riley (2011 to 2016)</strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/6U65ggjxUv4?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>Alex Riley might be the worst wrestler on this list. He was attached to The Miz during his WWE Championship run and he gained this entrance theme when he turned on The Miz. It makes you think that the upper brass had big plans for him as this song is awesome. I’m sure you guys know what came next as he was put in the doghouse as John Cena didn’t like him. He did some play-by-play in NXT for awhile and was cut shortly after trying a comeback in the ring. He is now mostly an actor as I haven’t seen him on many independent cards. I hope WWE recycles this theme song and gives it to another young guy or gal.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Ultimate Warrior <em>(1990s to mid-2010s)</em></strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/36OHZ51o2qo?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>Here is another iconic and awesome entrance theme song. I know when I heard this song as a little kid, I would run around the living room and act like I was shaking the ropes. It was almost like it was an audible sugar rush. The song helped further add a frenetic energy to the Warrior.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Shawn Michaels <em>(early-1990s to current)</em></strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/j4ErmBDTOJo?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>Shawn Michaels started to come out to this music after he threw Marty Jannety’s head through the Barbershop Window. He became the Heart Break Kid and became the egocentric person on-screen that he allegedly was in real-life. The song is brash and was just another domino in what made HBK a success.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Bobby Roode <em>(2016 to current)</em></strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/E7oMBq1vkCM?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>As I said in the introduction, ‘Glorious’ helped make Roode an instant star. You didn’t need to know him in TNA. He dresses in a robe and looks like a million bucks. The song is a perfect fit for Roode.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Undertaker (Ministry of Darkness 1st theme) <em>(1998)</em> </strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/KEPPcPeyv-c?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>This is a very specific theme song as it was only used for a short time in 1998. They kept tweaking with the Ministry’s music during this time, but this theme with the guitar solo at the beginning was the best. They would later take it out and got to the chorus much quicker. This is my favorite Undertake theme of all-time.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>The Brood <em>(1998 to 2000)</em></strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/idi4ThBQnic?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>Gangrel probably wouldn’t have been a main roster guy for very long if not for this music. It’s arguably the best entrance theme of the entire Attitude Era. It’s a banger and suits the vampire characters Gangrel, Edge and Christian portrayed when they were all together as The Brood.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>The Four Horsemen <em>(1980s to late-90’s)</em></strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Jq_GDQj53IQ?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>This might be my personal favorite on this list. As a kid, when I heard this theme song on WCW, I knew shit was about to go down. The Horsemen were about to cut an awesome promo or Tully & Arn were about to put on a tag-team showcase. They kept this song throughout different Horsemen lineups and helped Steve McMichael when he came out to this song. It sets off a Pavlov’s Dogs-like sensation and makes you think whoever is coming out to this song is a damn superstar.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Drew McIntyre <em>(2009 to 2012)</em></strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ouX0Bz5DTe4?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>This was Drew McIntyre’s theme song during his ‘Chosen One’ run. He used this song until he was stuck in the laughable 3MB stable. McIntyre had just about everything to be McMahon’s next star, but they had a thing against accents at this time. He fell down the card and was released about a year after 3MB formed. This theme song is still awesome.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Drew McIntyre <em>(2017 to current)</em></strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/el7BhwZOaGw?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>This is McIntyre’s current entrance theme song and debuted it in NXT when he had a short championship run in developmental. He is now on the main roster and will hopefully get the championship run he deserved back in the early 2010s. This is another entrance song and often play it during workouts.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Finn Balor <em>(2014 to current)</em></strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/6lV2HGLt2-E?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>This is Balor’s entrance theme when he came out as the demon. He hasn’t donned the bodypaint is well over six months. Maybe he needs to get over as himself more first and then he can bring it back. Hopefully by the time Aleister Black is called up, he will be able to use the demon again. I’d love to see a Black vs the Demon King match at a big event.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Minoru Suzuki <em>(2000s to current)</em></strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/AFKCwEdlAOo?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>“Kaze Ni Nare’ by Ayumi Nakamura is one of the most iconic wrestling themes in Japanese wrestling history. Minoru Suzuki is nearly 50 years old and has been coming out to the song for a long time. He’s also still one of the top guys in New Japan as the leader of the Suzuki-gun stable. You know an ass kicking is coming when you hear Suzuki’s entrance music.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>The Beautiful People (Velvet Sky & Angelina Love)<em> (2008 to 2016)</em></strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/GwYuRJWTv0g?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>TNA or Impact were not known for their awesome entrance music, but The Beautiful People’s entrance music was pretty darn great. The beat is contagious and gets stuck in your head. It could also be a Pavlov’s Dogs-like response again, since when you hear this music some pigeons are about to be let loose.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Degeneration X <em>(1997 to 2000 & 2001 to current)</em></strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/zh0_ZBK9Cfg?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>I had to add Degeneration X’s theme to this list. They used a Rage Against the Machine-ish band to record a Rage Against the Machine-ish song. It was one of the most iconic songs from the Attitude Era and is still used when HBK and Triple H dusts off their DX merch for an appearance on RAW. Triple H and X-Pac also had some great solo entrance songs, but I had to cut them off as I narrowed down this list.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Rob Van Dam <em>(1998 to 2001)</em></strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/VaXZmRvCsJg?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>This was Rob Van Dam’s entrance song in the original ECW. He used the song “Walk” by both Pantera and Kilgore. The ECW crowds would chant along with this song and was one of the many reasons why ECW crowds were great. RVD was a superstar there and would become even bigger in WWE.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Mr. Anderson <em>(2011 to 2016)</em></strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/V2nOIm1W1nc?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>This is the other TNA wrestling theme to make the list. It’s upbeat and made you want to see him on television…even if you had to stomach his work in the ring. Ken Anderson had so much talent on the microphone, but he always had bad luck with injuries in WWE and was never really ‘the guy’ during his run in TNA/Impact.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Curtis Axel <em>(2013 to 2014)</em></strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/A62BTlXuv9c?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>I almost put the original Mr. Perfect entrance theme song on this list, but Curtis Axel’s is such an awesome remix of it. I had high hopes of Axel when he debuted as a Paul Heyman Guy, but he just didn’t add up to Heyman’s other clients, CM Punk and Brock Lesnar….who would? Axel is still in WWE and is a good hand in the ring and his run in the Miztourage has broadened his overall acting skills.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>CM Punk <em>(2006 to 2011)</em></strong><br /> <iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/sig6ZL2EkUQ?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p>As much as I love Living Colour’s “Cult of Personality” theme song CM Punk would use both early and later in his career, I’m a big fan of his debut WWE entrance theme by Killswitch Engage. It has a lot of energy and really gets the crowd amped to see CM Punk succeed in the ring.</p> <p>Here is a YouTube playlist with all of the featured tracks.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong><iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent&listType=playlist&list=PL0A4HxFFJlIhlACcmUc6fUbrNons8AOw7" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></strong></p> <p>The list is over, but I wanted to name a few honorable mentions. I collect vintage wrestling action figures from the 80’s & 90’s. I started purchasing some vintage toys out of nostalgia. Well, WWE and Mattel sucked me into their new stuff. I now buy a few figures a month. You can <a href="https://instagram.com/vintagetoybob/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">view photos of my collection</a> on my Instagram account.</p> <p>The lineup for WWE Elite series 57 has been announced for awhile and early shipments have already been received (I already own this entire set). This set isn’t expected to hit retail until March.</p> <p>The WWE Superstars included in Elite 57 are Jeff Hardy, Seth Rollins, Tye Dillenger, Scotty 2 Hotty, Shinsuke Nakamura & Baron Corbin.</p> <p><span id="more-13253"></span></p> <p><a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Jeff-Hardy-Hardy-Boyz-RAW-Mattel-toys-action-figures.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-13255" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Jeff-Hardy-Hardy-Boyz-RAW-Mattel-toys-action-figures.jpg" alt="" width="384" height="640" srcset="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Jeff-Hardy-Hardy-Boyz-RAW-Mattel-toys-action-figures.jpg 384w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Jeff-Hardy-Hardy-Boyz-RAW-Mattel-toys-action-figures-180x300.jpg 180w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 384px) 100vw, 384px" /></a></p> <p><strong>Jeff Hardy</strong> – This is Hardy’s first official regular series Elite since they cancelled his addition to Elite series 1. They just released an <a href="https://forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/350288/jeff-hardy-entrance-greats-proto" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Entrance Greats Jeff Hardy</a> that looks eerily similar to his cancelled Elite 1 elite. This Hardy figure is of a current attire and headscan. It matches a Matt Hardy which will be in Elite 58. This will be a hot seller since Mattel knows there’s a huge demand for Hardy figures.</p> <p><a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Seth-Rollins-Wrestlemania-RAW-Mattel-toys-action-figures.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-13256" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Seth-Rollins-Wrestlemania-RAW-Mattel-toys-action-figures.jpg" alt="" width="385" height="640" srcset="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Seth-Rollins-Wrestlemania-RAW-Mattel-toys-action-figures.jpg 385w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Seth-Rollins-Wrestlemania-RAW-Mattel-toys-action-figures-180x300.jpg 180w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 385px) 100vw, 385px" /></a></p> <p><strong>Seth Rollins</strong> – This attire is from <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9f85bhONIw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Wrestlemania 33</a> when Rollins had a torch and ‘lit’ the stage ablaze. Rollins figures are always hot sellers and this one, even though it was mostly a one-off, will be a must-own for figure collectors.</p> <p><a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Tye-Dillenger-Perfect-10-Smackdown-Live-Mattel-toys-action-figures.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-13257" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Tye-Dillenger-Perfect-10-Smackdown-Live-Mattel-toys-action-figures.jpg" alt="" width="383" height="640" srcset="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Tye-Dillenger-Perfect-10-Smackdown-Live-Mattel-toys-action-figures.jpg 383w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Tye-Dillenger-Perfect-10-Smackdown-Live-Mattel-toys-action-figures-180x300.jpg 180w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 383px) 100vw, 383px" /></a></p> <p><strong>Tye Dillenger</strong> – This is the first elite for the ‘Perfect 10’. He isn’t on Smackdown Live! much, but he’s still a fan favorite . I ‘believe’ this attire is from his Royal Rumble entrance at #10 (but I could be wrong). This one should also be a quick sell at retail.</p> <p><a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Scotty-2-Hotty-flashback-old-school-WWF-Mattel-toys-action-figures.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-13258" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Scotty-2-Hotty-flashback-old-school-WWF-Mattel-toys-action-figures.jpg" alt="" width="382" height="640" srcset="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Scotty-2-Hotty-flashback-old-school-WWF-Mattel-toys-action-figures.jpg 382w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Scotty-2-Hotty-flashback-old-school-WWF-Mattel-toys-action-figures-179x300.jpg 179w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 382px) 100vw, 382px" /></a></p> <p><strong>Scotty 2 Hotty</strong> – This is the first Flashback in the regular series in awhile. There used to be multiple flashbacks per series, but now with all the retail-exclusive elite lines, Mattel has backed off. Scotty 2 Hotty was one of my favorites as a teenager. I used to mark out when <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Kwi_OLO9Sg" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Scotty 2 Hotty did the Worm</a>. We now only need Brian Christopher and we will have ‘Too Cool’ since there is already an existing elite of Rikishi.</p> <p><a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Shinsuke-Nakamura-New-Japan-NJPW-Mattel-toys-action-figures.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-13259" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Shinsuke-Nakamura-New-Japan-NJPW-Mattel-toys-action-figures.jpg" alt="" width="385" height="640" srcset="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Shinsuke-Nakamura-New-Japan-NJPW-Mattel-toys-action-figures.jpg 385w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Shinsuke-Nakamura-New-Japan-NJPW-Mattel-toys-action-figures-180x300.jpg 180w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 385px) 100vw, 385px" /></a></p> <p><strong>Shinsuke Nakamura</strong> – This is Nakamura’s first regular series elite, but he already had a Defining Moments and an elite in the Target-exclusive NXT line of elites. I dig that this Nakamura comes with a cloth shirt. Hopefully we will also get a Nakamura with his <a href="https://www.foxsports.com/wwe/story/shinsuke-nakamura-bobby-roode-nxt-takeover-orlando-040117" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Michael Jackson-inspired jacket</a> in the future.</p> <p><a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Baron-Corbin-Smackdown-Live-Mattel-toys-action-figures.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-13260" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Baron-Corbin-Smackdown-Live-Mattel-toys-action-figures.jpg" alt="" width="379" height="640" srcset="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Baron-Corbin-Smackdown-Live-Mattel-toys-action-figures.jpg 379w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/WWE-Elite-57-Baron-Corbin-Smackdown-Live-Mattel-toys-action-figures-178x300.jpg 178w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 379px) 100vw, 379px" /></a></p> <p><strong>Baron Corbin</strong> – I believe this is Corbin’s third elite. I’m glad one finally comes with a cloth shirt. I’ve been buying custom figure clothing off a buddy of mine. He’s retiring for bit or I would plug the hell out of him, he’ the best. This figure should be a hot seller since it has a blue briefcase and a cloth shirt. If it didn’t have those, this one would have died a death at retail.</p> <p>Elite 57 should be found at retail in mid-March.</p> <p>Elite 58’s lineup is already up for pre-order on some online retailers that get figures early. I will have a post about them in the coming weeks. There are a couple must-own figures in the set (hint: Mickie James is getting her first elite).</p> <p>You can pre-order everything at <a href="http://www.RingsideCollectibles.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">RingsideCollectibles.com</a>. I’m not getting paid to plug them (although it would be nice to get a nice discount – wink wink). I just recommend them. I’ve been pleased with every purchase. You can also check out <a href="http://www.walkoutwear.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">WalkOutWear.com</a> for pre-orders with free shipping.</p> <p>I should also add <a href="http://theyreactionfigures.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TheyreActionFigures.com</a> to my recommendation list. Awesome prices for WWE, Marvel and other toy lines. I’ve bought from them numerous times. A trusted seller and treats buyers well with great prices and fast shipping.</p> <h2>Follow us on Twitter <a href="http://www.twitter.com/sweetbob" target="_blank" rel="noopener">@Sweetbob</a> & ‘LIKE’ us on <a href="http://www.facebook.com/AmericasWhiteBoy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Facebook</a>!</h2> <p><a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/sweetbob-author-pic.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignleft" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/sweetbob-author-pic.jpg" alt="sweetbob-author-pic" width="114" height="114"></a><em>About the Author…</em></p> <p><em>Bobby Roberts (otherwise known as Sweetbob) is the creator of ‘<a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">America’s White Boy’</a> and contributor at <a href="http://projectshanks.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Project Shanks</a>. He has been on the shelf since WWE’s doctor (Dr. Joseph Maroon) has medically disqualified him due to concussions. He has fought back with dozens of other doctors clearing him to wrestle, but WWE fears an NFL-level concussion lawsuit, is being cautious when dealing with concussions.</p> <p>Bryan has been a character on WWE television the last 18 months or so, but he’s just a power figure as the Smackdown Live! General Manager. He is just marking time until his contract ends this September, since he has no guarantee he will wrestle for them again.</p> <p><span id="more-13136"></span></p> <p>Bryan has been vocal about his future in pro wrestling. He said he will wrestle again, but it is up to the WWE if it will be for them. He has recently said that if <a href="https://www.si.com/wrestling/2018/01/03/wwe-news-daniel-bryan-wwe-future" target="_blank" rel="noopener">he isn’t wrestling by this year’s Wrestlemania</a>, then he will wait out his contract and wrestle in the indies. WWE has a huge decision to make, do they risk losing Daniel Bryan and having him pop the indie wrestling scene, or do they choose to be risky and allow him to wrestle in WWE again?</p> <p>Knowing all of that information, there was an interesting betting note for the 2018 Royal Rumble. Bryan’s betting odds went from 66 to 1, which is at the cusp of the ridiculous (where CM Punk and other legends sit), and now sits at 9 to 1, odds greater than some legit contenders to win the Rumble.</p> <p>What does this mean?</p> <p>It means that either the oddsmakers have some inside information or a few dummies put down some big money on him, so they are covering their asses. I’m thinking it is the latter.</p> <p>It would surprise me if the WWE clears him, it really would. It would be a huge story and would open up some great future matches with him against guys like Shinsuke Nakamura, A.J. Styles and Kevin Owens, who weren’t with the company back when he was an active wrestler.</p> <p>Did someone on the inside feed some bad info to oddsmakers? This is very likely since this would drive up interest in the Rumble. They are risking a letting down the fans if he’s not in the Rumble, but WWE has made some dumb decisions in the past at the fans’ expense.</p> <p>Not only do I think he will not win the Royal Rumble, but I highly doubt he will even appear in it. I would LOVE to see him wrestle again, but this could all be smoke and mirrors. Nothing on their end even hints at it and people love to leak out information to the dirt sheets. It’s almost impossible to pull off a legit surprise in pro wrestling. It has only happened once in the last five years (Shane McMahon’s return appearance).</p> <p>Save your money and just buy the WWE Network. The Rumble is always fun and now that there is a <a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/2018/01/03/possible-surprise-entrants-in-first-ever-womens-royal-rumble/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">women’s Royal Rumble match</a> on top of the men’s, it’s a can’t miss show.</p> <h2>Follow us on Twitter <a href="http://www.twitter.com/sweetbob" target="_blank" rel="noopener">@Sweetbob</a> & ‘LIKE’ us on <a href="http://www.facebook.com/AmericasWhiteBoy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Facebook</a>!</h2> <p><a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/sweetbob-author-pic.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignleft" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/sweetbob-author-pic.jpg" alt="sweetbob-author-pic" width="114" height="114"></a><em>About the Author…</em></p> <p><em>Bobby Roberts (otherwise known as Sweetbob) is the creator of ‘<a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">America’s White Boy’</a> and contributor at <a href="http://projectshanks.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Project Shanks</a>. Those figures are already in my collection and look fantastic. Funko is set to release even more pop vinyl figures before Christmas this year.</p> <p>We have reviewed a lot of Mattel’s WWE Elite figures, but Funko has also released some pretty solid figures in the past. I’m a big collector and you can see some of my collection on my Instagram, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/vintagetoybob/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">@vintagetoybob</a>.</p> <p>I’ve plugged another site in my previous Mattel/Funko posts, but if you’re looking to order Funko figures, I’d trust <a href="https://www.dctoys.net" target="_blank" rel="noopener">DCtoys.net</a>. I’ve bought from the seller before and he is highly reputable. The best of the best for sure. You can use code ‘<strong>AAFWWEBUNDLE</strong>‘ for free domestic shipping on any order over $36.</p> <p>Here are some pictures of Funko’s Fall/Winter 2017 WWE POP! vinyl releases.</p> <p><span id="more-12714"></span></p> <p><a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-The-Rock-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-12716" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-The-Rock-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="500" srcset="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-The-Rock-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg 500w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-The-Rock-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl-150x150.jpg 150w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-The-Rock-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl-300x300.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a> <a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-The-Rock-CHASE-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-12717" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-The-Rock-CHASE-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="500" srcset="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-The-Rock-CHASE-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg 500w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-The-Rock-CHASE-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl-150x150.jpg 150w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-The-Rock-CHASE-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl-300x300.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a><em><strong>The Rock (WITH CHASE)</strong></em> – The Rock had a previous Funko release in his modern-day wrestling attire, but these releases come from when he became for the Corporate Champion in the Attitude Era. I love these attires choices.</p> <p><a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Razor-Ramon-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-12718" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Razor-Ramon-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="500" srcset="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Razor-Ramon-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg 500w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Razor-Ramon-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl-150x150.jpg 150w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Razor-Ramon-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl-300x300.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a> <a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Razor-Ramon-Scott-Hall-NWO-CHASE-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-12720" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Razor-Ramon-Scott-Hall-NWO-CHASE-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="500" srcset="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Razor-Ramon-Scott-Hall-NWO-CHASE-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg 500w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Razor-Ramon-Scott-Hall-NWO-CHASE-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl-150x150.jpg 150w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Razor-Ramon-Scott-Hall-NWO-CHASE-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl-300x300.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a></p> <p><em><strong>Razor Ramon (WITH CHASE)</strong></em> – I’m a fan of these attires too, but my only nitpick is that he was never known as Razor Ramon when he was in the NWO. Since it is a choice, the box doesn’t change, so it’s something I can live with I suppose.</p> <p><a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Braun-Strowman-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-12715" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Braun-Strowman-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="500" srcset="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Braun-Strowman-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg 500w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Braun-Strowman-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl-150x150.jpg 150w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Braun-Strowman-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl-300x300.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a></p> <p><em><strong>Braun Strowman</strong></em> – This is a regular series release. There wasn’t any other attire choices for Strowman since this has been his only gear since his debut. </p> <p><a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Alexa-Bliss-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-12719" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Alexa-Bliss-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="500" srcset="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Alexa-Bliss-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg 500w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Alexa-Bliss-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl-150x150.jpg 150w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Alexa-Bliss-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl-300x300.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a></p> <p>Alexa Bliss – This an interesting attire choice for this figure. They chose the attire she wore in NXT instead of an early main roster gear. I don’t this will ever happen, but it would be cool if Blake & Murphy were ever released, but again, there’s like a 0.00001% of that happening. Also, this is a regular series release.</p> <p><a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Shinsuke-Nakamura-Toys-R-Us-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-12721" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Shinsuke-Nakamura-Toys-R-Us-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="667" srcset="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Shinsuke-Nakamura-Toys-R-Us-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg 749w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Shinsuke-Nakamura-Toys-R-Us-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl-225x300.jpg 225w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Shinsuke-Nakamura-Toys-R-Us-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl-624x832.jpg 624w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a></p> <p><em><strong>Shinsuke Nakamura (Toys R Us)</strong></em> – This release kind of came of nowhere. (Walgreens) – This is the Million Dollar Man’s third Funko release…kind of nuts, but I dig the 2-pack with I.R.S. I also have to give Funko props for just not re-releasing a previous M$M in this 2-Pack. They added the Million Dollar Championship and cash in his hands. Walgreens have been knocking it out of the park with their WWE exclusives, Funko and Mattel. I actually just picked up the Enzo Amore/Big Class 2-Pack this week that was released this Summer.</p> <p><a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Zack-Ryder-NYCC-exclusive-FYE-exclusive-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-12723" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Zack-Ryder-NYCC-exclusive-FYE-exclusive-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="357" srcset="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Zack-Ryder-NYCC-exclusive-FYE-exclusive-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl.jpg 480w, https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/2017-18-Fall-Winter-WWE-Funko-Zack-Ryder-NYCC-exclusive-FYE-exclusive-toy-crazy-pop-vinyl-300x214.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a></p> <p>Zack Ryder (New York Comic Con exclusive) – This figure was released last month at NYCC and was shared at FYE. It was only sold at the Funko Headquarters in Seattle on October 17th. It’s already being sold on eBay for hundreds of dollars. Sadly, I doubt this one will ever find its way into my collection.</p> <p>There’s always a chance there could be another release or two before the end of the year, but this is all that is known at this point. The brand split increased the ratings for Smackdown Live, but Smackdown house show attendance is almost at record lows. The roster is so thin right now that it is really hard to keep booking interesting matches.</p> <p>Here are ten ways the WWE could improve their product right now.</p> <p><span id="more-11187"></span>I know keeping the product PG is important for the WWE, so all of my suggestions will not mess with their television rating. I would like there to be a few more blade jobs a year to increase a feud, but I understand their sponsors aren’t too keen on having guys cut themselves on television.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Stop with the weird corporate doublespeak</strong></span>. In the WWE, you can’t use the term ‘title match’, but instead they use ‘championship opportunity’. You can’t for any reason call a championship title a ‘belt’ or ‘strap.’ You can’t even say ‘hospital’, they have to say ‘medical center.’ Instead of saying ‘crowd’, they say ‘the WWE Universe’. And last but not least, they need to start saying ‘wrestling’ again instead of ‘sports entertainment.’ Making your announcers use non-stop WWE corporate branding speak, makes them sounds like robots. Their announcers need to appear more human and likable. I’m a big fan of Corey Graves and feel like his addition to the RAW team improved Michael Cole. Unfortunately for Smackdown, JBL and David Otunga have weighed down the talented Mauro Ranallo.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Use harder music on programming, especially on PPVs</strong></span>. I don’t have anything against Flo Rida or Kevin Rudolf personally, but the WWE needs to find some harder acts to profile on their shows. If you watch old RAWs and PPVs during the Attitude Era, they had harder music that would make the feud more intense during their pre-match vignettes. NXT currently does a good job with their music in the video below. It makes the Asuka/Nia Jax much more intense. Also, this is a way to make your product appear more like the Attitude Era while staying PG.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><iframe loading="lazy" class="youtube-player" width="525" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/lAHkOW1YkjU?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent" allowfullscreen="true" style="border:0;" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox"></iframe></p> <p style="text-align: left;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Bring up Samoa Joe, Shinsuke Nakamura and Asuka right now</strong></span>. These talents are in their mid-to-late 30s and are in their prime. They need to be making the most money possible for the WWE and that would be on either RAW or Smackdown. All three talents would bring new, fresh matchups like Seth Rollins vs Shinsuke Nakamura, Samoa Joe vs. Brock Lesnar and Asuka vs. Charlotte. All three of those matches are Wrestlemania-level and need to happen. I know NXT may suffer, but the main product needs those guys now. As long as they keep signing guys like Roderick Strong to fill in the gaps, they should be just fine. Also, on a slight tangent, if the WWE were to call-up Asuka, have Paul Heyman be her advocate and speak for her. He would put her over as a true beast like he does with Brock Lesnar.</p> <p style="text-align: left;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Allow Piledrivers Again</strong></span>. Yes, I know the WWE hasn’t allowed piledrivers since <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKYYsg-jMfU" target="_blank">Owen Hart nearly killed Stone Cold Steve Austin in ’97</a>. Hart didn’t use a traditional piledriver, he used a reverse sit-down piledriver…which shold never, ever be used. A traditional piledriver is extremely safe and I could argue is much safer than Kevin Owens’s powerbomb on the apron and A.J. Style’s Styles Clash. It’s a move that looks a lot worse than it really is, unlike many of the moves being done in WWE that are actually more painful than they appear like Seth Rollins’ turnbuckle bomb.</p> <p style="text-align: left;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Hire a backstage interviewer with more personality</strong></span>. I missed the days of Mean Gene Okerlund. He would have a conversation with a wrestler and both pry information out of him or direct it where it needed to go. There isn’t anyone back there that could do that right now. They keep hiring cookie cutter robots that just ask open-ended questions like, “What are your thoughts on [fill in the blank]”. I like Renee Young, but I blame the overly-written dialogue for turning the interviewer position into a robot used to get a wrestler’s promo started. That position could be so much more if they are given more freedom.</p> <p style="text-align: left;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Stop with the themed months</strong></span>. The WWE does a great job at helping charities and I’m a fan of <a href="https://www.givetochildrens.org/aboutconnorscure" target="_blank">Connor’s Cure</a>, which helps pediatric cancer. I know they love promoting their good deeds, but the themed months kind of get out of control in the Fall. I also think heels shouldn’t come out with ribbons or pins of the charity. You want the crowd to dislike them, so seeing that they support a good cause, isn’t helping what you’re attempting to achieve. It’s kind of an old school mentality, but I doubt WWE will ever stop.</p> <p style="text-align: left;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Keep your champions strong</strong></span>. I’m writing this as A.J. Styles is caught in a weird underdog storyline with ultimate jobber James Ellsworth on Smackdown Live. Styles has lost three of his matches against Ellsworth with some sort of interference by Dean Ambrose. I know Ellsworth is used as a tool to push the Ambrose/Styles rivalry, but I don’t need to see the WWE Champion lose to a chin-less jobber. Do you think Hogan would have lost in ANY way to someone like Barry Horowitz? You couldn’t have pitched him an idea in which he was losing a match to anyone below Earthquake or Tugboat-level.</p> <p style="text-align: left;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Less comedy in your tag team division</strong></span>. What ever happened to the days of having tag teams of ass kickers like the Legion of Doom, Demolition, the Hart Foundation and the British Bulldogs? There was room for acts like The Bushwhackers, but the RAW roster is full of comedy acts. There isn’t a single tag team on RAW that isn’t a full-blown comedy act. They could have save The Club from being one, but they dressed them up as doctors and talked about ‘ringpostitis.’ They have since tried to make them more ass kickers, especially after that <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Euu6Pio5VKY" target="_blank">horrible Old Day segment</a> failed. The Smackdown roster isn’t any better with Heath Slater and Rhyno as the tag champions. At least they have American Alpha waiting in the wings to take over.</p> <p style="text-align: left;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Stephanie McMahon must stop emasculating top stars</strong></span>. Stephanie McMahon treats all the wrestlers on RAW like they are children. She’s the teacher and she likes to scold the top stars. Why should I give a crap about your WWE Universal champion when he is being belittled by McMahon on a weekly basis? In the old days, it would be Vince doing the ‘talking down’, but a star could push back with aggression. That doesn’t work if a woman is talking down to you, so there needs to be someone like Ronda Rousey or Paige VanZant to come in and make Stephanie finally eat crow.</p> <p style="text-align: left;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Turn John Cena Heel</strong></span>. Yes, this has been on just about everyone’s list of ‘how to improve WWE’ for almost a decade now. He is now considered to be a part-timer with Hollywood calling more and more. It is the perfect time to turn him. He can do what Hogan did when he turned heel and announce that he was going away and be paid millions of dollars to star in a movie. It’s time for WWE and Cena to finally do it.</p> <h2><em id="__mceDel">Follow us on Twitter <a href="http://www.twitter.com/sweetbob" target="_blank">@Sweetbob</a> & ‘LIKE’ us on <a href="http://www.facebook.com/AmericasWhiteBoy" target="_blank">Facebook</a>!</em></h2> <p><a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/sweetbob-author-pic.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignleft" src="https://americaswhiteboy.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/sweetbob-author-pic.jpg" alt="sweetbob-author-pic" width="114" height="114" /></a><em>About the Author…</em></p> <p><em>Bobby Roberts (otherwise known as Sweetbob) is the creator of ‘<a href="https://americaswhiteboy.com" target="_blank">America’s White Boy’</a> and contributor at <a href="http://projectshanks.com" target="_blank">Project Shanks</a>.
