The 2014 NBA Draft is very deep, so more good players than usual didn’t make the cut. It’s not the end of the road for these players. They will just need to work a little harder to attain their dream.

Many of these guys will be signed to play in the NBA Summer League. They can showcase their skills in hopes of earning a invite to training camp. Unfortunately for most, they will end up playing overseas or in the NBA Development League. There are still a few every year that surprise everybody and beat the odds to earn an NBA contract.

Syracuse was the best team in the nation for most of the season. After their overtime loss to Boston College, they just fell off a cliff. C.J. Fair and Tyler Ennis haven’t played well and head coach Jim Boeheim made an ass out of himself in the Duke game.

Western Michigan won the MAC tournament to earn an automatic bid. They haven’t been tested all season and benefited from a cake schedule.

Which Syracuse squad will show up in the first round, the team that won its first 25 games or the the team that lost to 8-24 Georgia Tech?

I use the word ‘everything’ because I seriously watch any sport that pops up on my DirecTV. At the moment, that means a lot of the Winter Olympics.

As I’m in the vortex of random sports, I find myself doing my fair share of betting. I had a great NFL and college football season and historically, I’m even better at college basketball.

This Saturday is filled with more than luge and figure skating. You have some great college basketball matchups (Syracuse at Duke) and UFC 170.

I pick February 22nd college basketball games against the spread and also pick the winners of tonight’s UFC 170. Will Ronda Rousey defend her title?
