The Pac 12 was arguably the most competitive power conference in college basketball this year. There wasn’t a single team that ran away with the conference because it was so deep. California was a team that started playing its best basketball at the right time.

The Big West Conference is usually only a single-bid conference in the NCAA Tournament. Hawaii ran through it and went on to win the conference tournament.

The Big Ten was loaded this year. Not only is Michigan State a legit title contender, but a handful of other teams in the conference could surprise us all and win the tournament. Michigan shown to be pesky when they knocked off Indiana in the conference tournament.

The American Athletic Conference probably shouldn’t have received as many at-large bids into the tournament as they did, but Tulsa is glad they get a shot. The senior-laden team could be a tough out for Michigan.

The last time a team from the Atlantic Sun Conference made a dent in the NCAA Tournament was when Florida Gulf Coast’s Dunk City team went on a run to the Sweet Sixteen in 2013. Could the up-tempo team do it again?

The Northeast Conference is usually a one-bid conference and often the conference tournament winner ends up playing in the First Four play-in games. Fairleigh Dickinson is right where many other Northeast teams have been before.

2016 March Madness: #11 Vanderbilt vs #11 Wichita State

We are here to help you fill out your brackets and finally beat your cubicle neighbor in your office pool this year.

The SEC had a down year this season. Kentucky was expected to run away with the conference, but they faced some obstacles along the way. If LSU would have materialized as a good team, maybe the conference would have received more at-large bids.

The Missouri Valley Conference is one of the best mid-major conferences. They’ve historically had pretty good success in the NCAA Tournament as well. Wichita State doesn’t come into the tournament as hot as the last two years, but don’t overlook them.

The Patriot League has had some big moments in the NCAA Tournament. Teams have come from this conference and played the role of Cinderella. Bucknell and Lehigh are two teams from the conference that come to mind when the word ‘Cinderella’ is mentioned.

The SWAC conference doesn’t have the same kind of glimmer. Teams from this conference is usually seen as an easy-out, but the small conference tournament is always a battle until a winner is crowned.

The Big Ten was solid all year long. Maryland was ranked along with Michigan State, Indiana, Iowa, Purdue and others all season. The talent level in the conference rivals any of the other power conferences.

The Summit League isn’t a well-known conference, but teams in the conference have made for some interesting NCAA Tournament matchups in year’s past.

2016 March Madness: #6 Seton Hall vs #11 Gonzaga

We are here to help you fill out your brackets and finally beat ‘Rhonda the intern’ in your office pool this year.

The Big East conference tournament was fun to watch this year. Seton Hall just lined them up and kept winning. The Pirates would have been a fun sleeper pick in the NCAA Tournament if they didn’t end up winning the conference tournament.

The West Coast Conference was weak this year. We are used to them getting at least one at-large bid during the peak years of the Gonzaga/St. Mary’s rivalry. St. Mary’s was on the bubble, but didn’t get in, so Gonzaga is the lone representative from the WCC this year.

2016 March Madness: #6 Texas vs #11 Northern Iowa

We are here to help you fill out your brackets and finally beat ‘Barb from corporate’ in your office pool this year.

The Big 12 had a fantastic year as a whole. The top teams in the conference were ranked all season. A lot of the middle-of-the-road teams got at-large bids largely from the overall power of the conference.

The Missouri Valley Conference was just a two-bid conference this year. Northern Iowa won the conference tournament and Wichita State is playing in one of the play-in games. The conference wasn’t as strong as in years past.

2016 March Madness: #7 Dayton vs #10 Syracuse

We are here to help you fill out your brackets and finally beat ‘Mildred from warehouse’ in your office pool this year.

The Atlantic 10 was the best mid-major conference in college basketball this season. There were at least five teams at the end of the season that could have won the conference championship.

The ACC has some of the best teams in the nation. A few are expected to go deep into the tourney. Syracuse wasn’t consistent and stagger into the 2016 NCAA Tournament. Some even believe Syracuse shouldn’t have gotten an at-large bid this year.
