#3 New Mexico is one of the most underrated teams in the country. The Mountain West is filled with good teams this season and the Lobos are the best.

The Ivy League is improved, but nowhere near the level of the Mountain West. #14 Harvard is appearing in back-to-back NCAA Tournaments for the first time in school history.

New Mexico will be playing with a chip on their shoulder. They believe they should have received a higher seed.

2013 March Madness: #6 Arizona vs #11 Belmont

One of the trendy upset picks this tournament is #11 Belmont (26-6) triumphing over #6 Arizona (25-7).

This is Belmont’s third NCAA Tournament appearance in a row. They have yet to win a tournament game, but have come very close.

Arizona was once ranked third in the country, but have looked pedestrian at times. It makes sense that people would write Belmont’s name in as an upset.

If you’re looking to pick an upset, look no further than when a #5 seed meets a #12 seed in the first-round. These matchups are the most common upsets in the history of the NCAA Tournament.

#5 Wisconsin (23-11) vs. #12 Mississippi (26-8) could lead to another #5 seed upset.

Cinderella darling Bryce Drew is back in the NCAA Tournament. This time he’s not a player, but as Valparaiso’s coach.

CBS, for ratings sake, hope Cinderella has a slipper on hand for the #3 Michigan State (25-8) vs. #14 Valparaiso (26-7) game.

Tom Izzo was quoted saying, “I’d rather play the Lakers than another Big Ten team.” He got his wish, and thankfully he’s facing Valpo and not Kobe.

2013 March Madness: #6 Memphis vs #11 MTSU/St. Mary’s

Is it possible for play-in game winner to advance in the NCAA Tournament?

It happened in 2011 when VCU won their play-in game and went on to appear in the Final Four. The winner of the Middle Tennessee/St. Mary’s game could join the short list of teams to advance.

#6 Memphis (30-4) plays the winner of that game.

Conference USA never gets many teams in the tournament. It’s the same this year as Memphis is their only representative.

Do you want to watch a chubby, Canadian 7’5 basketball player run around?

You’re in luck.

The game between #4 Saint Louis and #13 New Mexico State has one of those. NMSU’s 7’5, 355 lb. Sim Bhullar, who is destined to have a sideshow-like appeal.

After winning the A-10 Tournament, Saint Louis is getting a lot of buzz to be a sleeper pick to win the Midwest bracket. The buzz is warranted, but they have a ~~huge~~, very huge mountain of a man to climb.

If you’re looking to pick an upset, look no further than when a #5 seed meets a #12 seed in the first-round. These matchups are the most common upsets in the history of the NCAA Tournament.

#5 Oklahoma State (24-8) vs. #12 Oregon (26-8) could be a special game.

In December, it was unthinkable that Oregon would barely make the NCAA Tournament. They were 18-2 through January before hitting the heart of their Pac-12 schedule.

2013 March Madness: #1 Louisville vs. #16 Play-In Winner

The lead game in the Midwest bracket has #1 seed Louisville (29-5) playing the winner of the play-in game between North Carolina A&T and Liberty to determine the #16 seed..

No matter who wins the play-in game, they face an uphill battle. Louisville’s roster is one of the best Rick Pitino’s has recruited while at the school.
