These Fun, Informative Games Are Great For Kids

Not everyone has constant access to a gaming system, so I’ve always tried to point out some fun, casual games one can play on a browser.

Not all kids learn the same way. It’s important to use different tools to throw in some useful knowledge. Gaming is a great way for a child to learn important information without it feeling like a boring task. You can find a ton of fun, informative games at https://www.culinaryschools.org/kids-games/.

I don’t have any children of my own, but I come from a large family, so I’ve come to know that small children can learn a lot from even the simplest of games. It also gives them a great sense of accomplishment when they pass levels to boost their confidence.

I’m going to point out some of my favorites and show what a kid could learn by playing a simple browser-based game.

Good Sort

‘Good Sort’ is a matching game, but there is a time limit and you need to methodical on how and when you move around items. You match three items to make those go away, and new items can appear that need to be matched. It’s a fun, casual game that can get your kid curious about sorting and matching.

Grocery Cashier

‘Grocery Cashier’ is a fun game for kids that helps them learn how to use a calculator/cash register and helps learn them how to make change using bills and coins. It’s a fun game that could help kids learn real world skills by trying to beat the clock and pass every level.

I ran a cash register at many of my early jobs, so this is something that I wish was around when I was a young kid. It’s important to be fast, yet accurate when it comes to ringing up customers and giving correct change.

Idle Coffee Business

‘Idle Coffee Business’ is a fun clicker game that can teach a child patience and strategic problem solving. You can upgrade every kind of coffee product to boost the amount of money you earn. Some coffee products are slower than others, so you need to figure out which will give you the best time rate, so you can continue to upgrade products and buy new ones.

Penguin Cafe

‘Penguin Cafe’ is a cartoon-style restaurant games in which a kid will learn multi-tasking. You also have to pay attention to which food you bring the penguin customers. If you bring them the wrong food, or take too long to bring them their order, it will hurt your tip and irritate the penguin customers.

The Casagrandes Marcado Mayhem

I love the look of this game and it looks more advanced than the usual browser-based game. ‘The Casagrandes Mercado Mayhem’ is a game where multi-tasking is learned, as you have to control two different people. The girl grabs the customer’s orders and the boy restocks the shelves and cleans the supermarket. The levels get crazy after the first couple of levels. It’s not overly difficult, but it definitely pushes you.
