We are here to help you fill out your brackets and finally beat your cubicle neighbor in your office pool this year.
The Big Ten was loaded this year. Not only is Michigan State a legit title contender, but a handful of other teams in the conference could surprise us all and win the tournament. Michigan shown to be pesky when they knocked off Indiana in the conference tournament.
The American Athletic Conference probably shouldn’t have received as many at-large bids into the tournament as they did, but Tulsa is glad they get a shot. The senior-laden team could be a tough out for Michigan.
Who do you think will win? We help you fill out your bracket.
The Michigan Wolverines needed a three-pointer with 0.2 seconds on the clock against Indiana to make it into the NCAA Tournament. They would not be in this position if that shot had not fallen. If senior Caris LeVert didn’t get injured at the start of the Big Ten season, maybe this Michigan team could have contended for a conference title. Right now their best player might be Duncan Robinson who has hoisted up 200 threes this year. Okay, he’s not their best player, but he’s fun to watch.
The Tulsa Golden Hurricane left a lot of people confused when they heard their name called on Selection Sunday. All of the ‘bracketologists’ didn’t have them on their boards. I didn’t necessarily think they would make the field of 68 either, but they did beat Wichita State (without Fred VanVleet) and SMU.
Tulsa uses a nine-man rotation and seven of them are seniors. This very well could be their last game. You see it year after year, some team that for all intents and purposes should be playing in the NIT, wins one of the First Four play-in games. Michigan is a solid team, but I’m rolling the dice with Tulsa
Prediction: #11 Tulsa Golden Hurricane
