I went undefeated on Thanksgiving against the spread, but after losing two games by a half-point and Denver blowing their lead Sunday night, I finished 9-7 last week. I could have had a very good week, but I’ll take the nine covers.
I can’t believe we could be seeing the ‘Matt Barkley Era’ begin in Chicago. He was able to move the ball and if it wasn’t for two redzone interceptions, they would have beaten Tennessee. I guess it’s pretty easy to look like a capable NFL quarterback when you’re following Jay Cutler.
There isn’t much need to keep an eye on weather reports this weekend. All of the games are expected to be nice.
We pick ever NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 13 of the 2016 NFL season.
After a few weeks floating around .500, I finished 8-5-1 last week. I hit both Sunday Night and Monday Night Football games for only the third time this season. I was hoping to hit the Thursday night game too, but it ended in a push.
I’ve historically done very well on Thanksgiving and this year’s games have pretty favorable lines.
Injuries are mounting up and it’s extremely important to study injury reports at this point in the season.
We pick ever NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 12 of the 2016 NFL season.
After hitting on almost 70% of my picks the last five weeks, I hit a wall last week. I finished 5-7-2 after whiffing on many of the early games. I was lucky to make up for it and hit on some late games last week.
The Dallas Cowboys are officially rookie QB Dak Prescott’s team. Often-injured QB Tony Romo said this week that Dak deserves to be the quarterback. I guess this is one of the reason many top quarterbacks often have extremely crappy backup quarterbacks. The Cowboys had guys like Kyle Orton and Brandon Weeden for a reason, to appease Romo’s ego.
We pick ever NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 11 of the 2016 NFL season.
I went 8-3-2 last week and actually hit the Monday Night Football game for the first time in a few weeks. I have no idea what’s going on there, since I have decent track record in the past.
We are back to fourteen games on the schedule this week after having a lot of teams on bye week the last two weeks.
The election is over and even if you are unhappy with the outcome, you can now focus more of your time on sports. There might even be a portion of the country that has no idea the NBA season has started. Welcome back to the real world, political junkies.
We pick ever NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 10 of the 2016 NFL season.
I went 7-5-1 last week after missing on some late games. I did hit on a couple nice moneylines, but really wish the Vikings looked better. They started out so hot, but they have now fell on their faces.
There are six teams on a bye week once again and there isn’t a game in London…so you can sleep in on Sunday!
We are starting to get some more division games this week, so there’s some historic information out there that can help you out. That info will be huge the last month of the season.
We pick ever NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 9 of the 2016 NFL season.
I ‘sacked’ Vegas last week and finished with a 12-1-1 record. It was my best finish of the year and hope to carry the momentum forward. I also hit on two nice moneylines last week. I would have had a blemish-free week if it wasn’t for the Eagles.
There are a few weird lines this weekend. Those questionable lines surround average teams being favored by six points or greater. It’s just odd seeing these kinds of odds this early in this year. A few lines appear more like Week 17 lines.

Although the departure of Luke Joeckel has indeed left a big void, it seems that the Jaguars are gearing up to replace their left guard, and may have already found the right candidate.
As the Jaguars are getting ready to face the Chicago Bears in their upcoming match, it seems that veteran lineman Patrick Omameh is going to be next man up for Jacksonville – something that has sent made certain bookies with their NFL betting lines very happy. Having served as the swing tackle for the team through the first four games, it was perhaps the hard work that he did in relief of Joeckel that earned him the opportunity to be considered as the first candidate to replace Joeckel went the latter went down during the Jaguars’ Week 4 win over the Indianapolis Colts. Omameh held his ground in London and protected quarterback Blake Bortles down the stretch.
I started off great last week, but the late games destroyed me. I finished with a 7-8-1 record on the week. I really like this week’s lines, so I hope for a better week.
I think you must take records with a grain of salt right now. There are a lot of quality 0-2 teams that play winnable games this week. Also, there are a couple 2-0 teams that have kind of lucked into an undefeated record. Records will start coming into play more after the first four games.
Week 3 is always a litmus test for many teams, especially if you currently sit at 1-1 or even 0-2. You don’t want to fall below .500 or end up winless after three games.
We pick every NFL game against the spread and throw out a few upsets in Week 3 of the 2016 NFL season.
