For centuries, Americans have enjoyed fishing as both a leisure activity, and a way to feed their families. Fishing is the quintessential all-American activity that can be done in quiet solitude alone or jovially with buddies. It can bring the family together as they plan the trip, catch, prepare and eat the fish. While many anglers enjoy fishing by themselves, appreciating the quality time with nature, but there are plenty of reasons why fishing can be great for the whole family, especially the kids.
In today’s world of cheap and convenient sugary, salty and fatty processed foods, kids face an uphill battle to give their bodies the right nutrition to grow into healthy and responsible adults. Since fish is a nutritious food source, if you choose (or are able) to eat your catch, it can be a valuable lesson in the virtues of consuming naturally sourced foods. In an age where processed foods are increasingly becoming the norm, it’s great to give kids the opportunity to understand where their food comes from.
Just in case you don’t know who Stephen Malkmus is, he’s the lead singer of the classic American indie band Pavement. Although that certainly doesn’t mean that it’s impossible. In fact, if anything it may be a little easier for those with talent and drive to succeed in today’s music industry. Keep reading to find out why.

I’m a big fan of random conspiracy theories. I don’t believe 95% of them, but it’s fun to know where some people’s minds go when alone. There are people who cannot be swayed away from some odd theory they cooked up in their minds, even if fact after fact proves them wrong.
I decided to post a list of twenty oddest, weirdest and most recent conspiracy theories on the internet.
If you’re looking to find more 9/11 inside job, Newtown massacre, Kennedy assassination, Moon landing and alien conspiracies, find them somewhere else. They have been overdone, especially Kennedy, who has had more books just focused on his assassination than about his entire life.
These aren’t in any order at all, but I had to start with the conspiracy theory that I actually believe.
It doesn’t matter whether you are determined rocker that plays from dusk until dawn or someone that just likes to strum on an acoustic every so often after work, everyone holds the same dream in the back of their heads: to make it as a serious musician. If you’re shaking your head then you’re simply lying to yourself. Even during those moments where you quit and say you’ll never play again, you know you can’t possibly quit, the hope you hold is just too intense.
The good news is, your unrealistic dreams are totally achievable. Yes, it requires years of practice, a solid amount of dedication, a few knocks and a lovely thick layer of luck, but it is still totally doable. And we’re going to help you out by giving you a little slice of advice. Now start believing you’re the next big thing and you’re halfway there.
Some people are sedentary for the majority of their lives. While being sedentary is the easiest thing to do in the short term, it definitely isn’t the healthiest. Plus, it will 100% cause you more problems in the long term. Failing to get daily exercise and the minimum recommended number of steps a day (5000) can leave you with a weak immune system, heart disease, and many other issues.
If you’ve been sedentary for most of your life, you might think that it’s too late to turn to sport. Well, that’s where you’re wrong. It’s never too late to turn to sport; there are athletes aged 80-95 who are still killing it on the track and field. Even if you’re young but feel you have no ‘natural talent’ – newsflash: hardly anybody has natural talent! Some kids are sent to dance school while they’re young and become incredible dancers. They still have to work for it. Everybody has to work for something they want to be good at. You can’t use ‘natural ability’ as an excuse not to do something. Here are some ideas that could help you turn your life around before you experience difficult health issues:
Music has been transforming lives since its very first inception. Don’t believe us, then just explain how it is that Plato (who was around almost 2500 years ago) managed to give the power of music the best description of all time when he said, “music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.” That is what music means to people, as poignant and dramatic as it may be.
But as much as you love your music, your listening experience may be lacking a little bit. It just may not be all that you hoped it was or all that it deserves to be. That is why we have come up with a list of ways you can upgrade your listening experience from every angle imaginable.
Sort Out Your Library
Unfortunately, the days of having box after box of vinyl are gone (even though a resurgence is in full swing). Instead, digital music libraries are the thing. Which begs the question, how can you enjoy your music if you can’t find it? So whilst it may not be the sexiest fix, just cleaning up your iTunes, favoriting your hipster music playlist and rearranging your Spotify can be well worth the effort.
Look at this word: commute. Now think about how that word made you feel. We’re guessing the answer is shaken, upset, angry, sick and a multitude of similarly horrifying words. But what if there was a way to make your commute more, well, fun. Yeah, that’s right, fun. Just because commuting is associated with going to and from work, doesn’t mean you can’t make it the best part of your day (apart from watching the latest episode of WWE: Smackdown before bed).
So, to help you make your commute less like the death from a thousand blades that it is, we have come up with a list of gear that could totally transform your life. Oh, don’t worry, there’s no need to thank us.
