We have reviewed a lot of Mattel’s WWE Elite figures, but Funko has also released some pretty solid figures in the past. I’m a big collector and you can see some of my collection on my Instagram, @vintagetoybob.
I’ve plugged another site in my previous Mattel posts, but if you’re looking to order Funko figures, I’d trust intheringcollectibles.com. I’ve bought a ton of stuff from them and they always pack shipments very well. You can use code ‘paulyp‘ for a discount.
Here are some pictures of Funko’s Summer 2017 WWE POP! vinyl releases.
‘Million Dollar Man’ Ted Dibiase (with CHASE) – I love that Funko is releasing two different version of the Million Dollar Man. These are two iconic attires from his run in the WWF in the 80’s and 90’s.
Iron Sheik (with CHASE) – I was quite surprised when I saw Funko was releasing an Iron Sheik. The WWE usually shies away from controversial former wrestlers. He is a great Twitter follow, but curse words flow like water out of his mouth. Funko is great at picking and choosing which guys they release.
Sasha Banks – I’m glad Funko is finally getting around to releasing more female wrestlers. The Bellas and Eva Marie are really the only ones so far. Another female wrestler is coming out this Summer as well.
Bayley (Toys R Us Exclusive) – Just like the first New Day, this will be a TRU exclusive. Bayley is possibly the most popular female wrestler in the world right now, so this one will be flying off the shelves.
Enzo Amore & Big Cass (Walgreens Exclusive) – I love this one, There haven’t been many tag teams that get the two or three pack version. This tag team is very popular and Enzo Amore’s Mattel figures do very well at retail. the HBK and Kane Walgreens exclusives weren’t very hard to find at retail, so I’m all for that chain of store getting some more exclusives.
That is all that has been confirmed for this Summer. There are rumors of Zack Ryder and a Ultimate Warrior & Macho Man two-pack from their match at Wrestlemania 7.
Like I said before, if you’re interested in pre-ordering these WWE Funko figures, check out In The Ring Collectibles and use code ‘paulyp‘ for a discount.
