We have reviewed a lot of Mattel’s WWE Elite figures, but Funko has also released some pretty solid figures in the past. I’m a big collector and you can see some of my collection on my Instagram, @vintagetoybob.
I’ve plugged another site in my previous Mattel posts, but if you’re looking to order Funko figures, I’d trust intheringcollectibles.com. I’ve bought a ton of stuff from them and they always pack shipments very well. You can use code ‘paulyp‘ for a discount.
Here are some pictures of Funko’s May 2017 WWE POP! vinyl releases.
Finn Balor (CHASE) – WWE collectors have been lucky in the past since there haven’t been any Chase figures in the WWE line. This Demon Finn Balor is 1:6 ratio, so it isn’t crazy rare, but knowing WWE collectors, they will be bought up if found at retail. Chase figures are always a pain to find anywhere in the wild.
Finn Balor – This is the regular series version of Finn Balor. It’s the non-demon version. It will also be sought after since nearly everything with Balor’s name or likeness sells like crazy.
A.J. Styles – Just like Balor, anything with A.J. Styles flies off the shelves. This is the first Funko item of A.J. Styles. It’s a cool attire and is the most iconic from his current WWE run.
Goldberg – This is the first current figure (Funko or Mattel) of Goldberg. Funko has really knocked it out of the park with the selection of these wrestlers. They are all hot right now and should do well for Funko.
Mick Foley – This will probably be the easiest to find at retail, but it’s a solid figure. I’d love Mankind, Cactus Jack or Dude Love Funko POP! vinyl figures, and hopefully those are next.
Finn Balor (FYE EXCLUSIVE) – This demon Finn Balor figure, with entrance headdress, will only be found at FYE retail stores. It’s a bad ass figure. FYE’s WWE exclusives haven’t been hard to find. There has been a purple Macho Man and white Seth Rollins so far. Both figures were easily found in their stores and/or available on their site.
Like I said before, if you’re interested in pre-ordering these WWE Funko figures, check out In The Ring Collectibles and use code ‘paulyp‘ for a discount.
